Demetres Onoufriou, MD - J&D Dynamic Enterprises Ltd.Effekta Emergency Lighting Inverters (ELI), have front access batteries (10 year life) for ease of maintenance, and are very compact with a small footprint.

Effekta ELIs use the latest high frequency PWM technology (IGBT’s), together with an inverter isolation transformer to achieve a high quality sinewave output. Fault clearance is guaranteed by being able to clear a ‘C’ type circuit breaker rated at 25% of the output line current.

All ELIs have an intelligent LCD type display and control panel, complete with Datalogger, allowing them to be put on both a short term test and an annual deep test. Auxiliary inputs and outputs allow for external fire-test, switched loads, Inhibit and external phase failure signals to be acted on. Common alarm output is standard, together with Mains fail and Battery low indicators.

Effekta Emergency Lighting Inverters are manufactured to EN50171 European standard, with many options including contactor or Static Switch (for No-break changeover). The units can be configured for multiple load paths as well as DC Earthleakage, SNMP and Printer outputs.

Static Frequency Converters

Effekta Static Frequency Converters employ high frequency PWM technology (IGBT’s) to achieve a high quality output under all load conditions. The units are designed with PFC (Power Factor Correction) inputs, giving low input current THD, thereby reducing input currents and harmonics.

Effekta static frequency converters are available in a wide power range using an Inverter isolation transformer and are suitable for all loads. The design offers flexibility on the input as well as the output, and can be configured for a wide variety of voltages and frequencies. A comprehensive LCD display, control panel and datalogger provide proper status and control of these units.

Industrial UPS

Effekta Industrial UPS (Uninterruptible Powers Supplies) can be uniquely packaged to meet individual specifications.

There are many existing installations that have recently invested in new batteries and now suddenly find their old UPS no longer work - this is where we can help. Our design is completely flexible and can accommodate most DC rails (72 to 702VDC). We can also package our units as required to fit existing areas.

We offer the same technology for any new requirements to get the best solution - this may mean high IP ratings, use of Front Access Batteries and the like. All units use Power Factor Corrected Chargers, together with the latest IGBT PWM technology on the Inverter path. Static Switches are fully rated with Manual Bypass built into each design as standard.

We offer SNMP/LAN adaptors using the Megatec protocol  and multiple volt free contacts to interface to your BMS system.
